Next to Ayodhhya, Hastinapur is the most important Teerth. 18 Kalyanakas of 5 Teerthankaras took place at Ayodhhya; while 12 Kalyankas of 3 Teerthankaras – Shri Shantinath, Kunthunath & Arahnath took place at Hastinapur These 3 Teerthankaras were Chakrawarti also. But this Teerth became most famous due to the ‘first Aahar’ of first Teerthankara ‘Bhagwan Rishabhdev’ given by King ‘Shreyans’; the juice of sugarcane was given as Aahar (Meal). Thus the starting of Daan Teerth (Daan-Donation) took place from here on the day of ‘Akshaya – Tratiya’ (the day Vaishakha Shukla Tratiya). Old Delhi is a constellation of living artefacts, and Darya Ganj’s Old Book Bazaar is among the most interesting ones. Stretching nearly 1.5 km near Darya Ganj’s Golcha cinema, the bazaar is the only source of income for many of its 200 pavement booksellers.

According to Mr. Subhash Chand Agrawal, President, Sunday Book Bazaar Patri Welfare Association, the market has been a Sunday feature in the area for the past three decades. Not all books here are second-hand.

The sellers acquire books from different places. Many publishers, not able to sell the old editions of books, sell them to these pavement booksellers at cheaper prices. Also, loads of books remain unclaimed during transportation through trains and buses which are then auctioned by Railway and other transportation authorities. However, according to one bookseller, Farid Anwar, “books also come from distributors on Ansari Road”. Often, customers with old books lying at home come to sell them to these sellers. The sellers also sell in bulk acting as distributors themselves. Traders dealing in used books come from as far away as Hyderabad to buy their stock here

What do these book-dealers do during the rest of the week? Some of them have small bookshops while others spend the week preparing for the following Sunday. According to Mr. Agarwal, “buying books atgood prices from different sources is a time-consuming task requiring business acumen and networking skills”. During the week, they also deliver books to various individuals or other sellers within their business network.

Why would someone buy books from here? Obviously they are cheaper. Equally importantly, says Mr. Agarwal, some books which are difficult to find in usual bookstores are easily available here because they are taken off the shelves by publishers due to little demand.

As always, authorisation of the market is a messy question. On the one hand, the market is quite established and its struggle for existence and recognition seems to be long over, but on the other, each hawker still pays Rs.50 per month to the police for “protection”. This is an unofficial arrangement, confides Anwar, which keeps both the sides satisfied

Jivaji Rao Scindia was one among the eminent rulers of the Scindia reign and many of the marvelous structures in and around Gwalior are the contribution of this progressive ruler. Jivaji Rao Scindia Museum is a memorial to this legendary genius.

Situated in the majestic Jai Vilas Palace, the Scindia Museum is established in 1964.

Museum exhibits a wide range of articles from all over the world. Objects on display include miniature paintings, weapons, bronzes, sculpture, manuscripts and coins. Besides this cut glass and crystal ornaments, Persian carpets, Malabar and Madurai woodwork, Chinese, Japanese and European art and curios, a mechanical silver train which was used as drinks trolley and the gold painted Durbar Hall are also put on show in the museum.

Some 25 rooms have been turned into the Jivaji Rao Scindia Museum, and in these rooms , so evocative of a regal lifestyle, the past comes alive.

channels. They all are with full of creativity in making fool of
public. If you really want to see competition of TRPs then follow all
news channel in india. Am sure, very next day you avoid watching it.
Few years back there was an incident of PRINCE FALLEN IN BOREWELL. all
the news channel started coverage of it till the time he got out from
well. Then the news item becomes breaking news and even has exclusive
written next to it. When there are at least 20 camera crews present at
the same spot. May be the exclusive sign implies that this is the only
channel that camera angle, the other camera angles being provided by
the other channels at a few degrees apart. They were not concern about
other happening in the country. Since then media has published every
year a new version of PRINCE in borewell from different villages with
new cast.
A question in my mind is still bubbling. .that how SANIA & SHOAIB
marry issue gonna affect the life of public, so it was broadcasting by
all news channels for four to five days. And media was playing a role
of court and cops 24X7. This was the most disgusting thing i saw on tv
so far. After few days of this senseless news there was a big basket
of TRPs due for them. And it was a big indian cricket show IPL 2010. A
regular show on IPL for 44 days. Have you ever seen any news show on
Indian most prestigious DULEEP TROPHY & RANJEE TROPHY? And at the end,
what was the out come of IPL .. . Match fixing etc.

To check your profile for public

your Facebook ID--this is the

the URL). Alternatively, you can
search for your name or email
address.
The tool will then load all your
profile information. All your
information outside the
"metadata" box is public (for
example, in the above picture,
that means that everyone can
see my "website" links). To see
if a particular section within
the metadata box (such as
activities, favorite movies, etc.)
is visible to the public click on
its link--if it comes up empty,
it's not viewable to the public.
Note, though, that if it's not

This recession is may be a big lesson for our life...our future...our security. This is a time when we should learn about our financial needs and adjustment in terms of expenses and investments. We can not expect high return from investment in recession time but yes we can set a long term investment goal very purely. I all this understands on my own experience.

I was working with a well reputed company of India. When i joined this company there were 35 branches across the Delhi and NCR. Expectations were very high from the system. Top to Bottom everything was much maintained. In June few more branches came into the picture and start functioning on a high swing. But later on the stage there was the great wall of recession and hitted badly. All the Structure of company was scattered.. employees are fired. System was crashed. Branches got closed....( Breaking News: Still 4 branches are functioning ). Now employees are in big dilemma that where they will go for job when a big brand can deceive in a mid-say.....

Hence, Every day is the day of Recession and Beginning of a New Lesson. So learn how to keep adjustment and maintain your Finance.
